SEARCH RESULTS FOR: wedding

It sure was an adventure bushwhacking up through all the toitoi and flax bushes to the top of Kariotahi’s cliffs… in jandals! Once we got to the top it was totally worth every part of the climb. Having already known James from high school and Josie being so bubbly made it so easy to kick things off.  The beautiful heart to heart connection between these two was so evident. To say it was an amazing experience photographing these two would be an understatement. This couple share the most beautiful joy and deep affection for each other. In the last minute I heard they were coming in costume, which made it all the more fantastical to photograph. They danced the evening away in the golden hour and finished with a splash in the ocean! They make a wonderful visual representation of two worlds coming together, with Yonita being Dutch and Kojo Ghanian. Tim and Ali tied the knot in the countryside of their hometown, Onewhero.  We all gathered in a humble wooden chapel for the small and intimate ceremony. The room was filled with colour as all their friends and families faces lit up experiencing the joining of these two radiant souls. We escaped down to a rustic river house for photos after the ceremony. Later on followed an easy-going reception in the country town hall.
